Many of these sites provide inspiration and information
about efforts to rebuild and assist Afghanistan.
www.afghans4tomorrow.com
An excellent site for information about rebuilding of Afghanistan across
all sectors of society.
www.afghanrelief.com
This Southern California organization sends
relief supplies to Afghanistan. This site gives one a current understanding
of the situation in Afghanistan via firsthand accounts of those who
traveled there to deliver relief supplies. (note: This site may not
load correctly in Netscape.)
www.afghan-engineers.org
This is the website for the Society of Afghan
Engineers (SAE). They have helped me considerably. Although the Rábia
Balkhi Hospital Project falls outside their specific goals, any project
that aids the people of Afghanistan is something they support.
www.afghanengineers.org
This is the Northern California chapter website
of the SAE.
www.embassyofafghanistan.org
This is the website of the Afghanistan Embassy
in Washington D.C. Current political events and updates are detailed
here.
www.afghancoalition.org
This organization is based in Fremont, California.
Afghan Coalition has also been very helpful to me. Look here to see
their projects, both in the US and in Afghanistan
www.afghan-web.com
Want to learn more about Afghanistan? This is
a good overall site that touches on every aspect of Afghan culture and
everyday life.
